上司に謝る英語表現です。
A: Jim, I was really counting on you to finish the presentation for Verizon by today.
B: I'm really sorry Mr. Reed. It's completely my fault.
A: Well, what exactly went wrong?
B: It was a real dumb mistake. I forgot to back up the files I was working on when my computer crashed. I had to start the whole thing over last night.
A: Well, I hope you learned to save your files as you're working! When can you get it done? I'd like to let them know we're ready by tomorrow at the latest.
B: No problem Sir. I'll stay as long it takes tonight and finish it up. Again, I'm really sorry.
A:今日までにベリゾン社のためのプレゼン資料を完成させてくれると、君を本当にあてにしていたのに。
B:本当にすみません、リードさん。完全に私のミスです。
A:うん、何が間違ったというんだね？
B:本当にバカな間違いです。コンピューターが壊れたとき、ちょうど作業中のファイルをバックアップし忘れていたんです。昨夜すべてをやり直さなければならなくなりました。
A:そうか作業中のファイルは保存するように学んでくれたまえよ！いつ、完成できるんだい？遅くとも明日までには準備ができていると向こうに知らせたいんだ。
B:大丈夫です。今晩できるだけ長く残って、完成させます。重ねて、大変申し訳ありませんでした。
