賛辞をおくる

外資系企業などでは、外国人の同僚やスタッフを褒める場面も、たびたび必要となるかもしれません。褒め言葉にもいろいろありますが、英語で、 十分な褒め言葉をスマートに送るにはどうしたらいいでしょうか?

A: Kristin, I just wanted to let you know I think you made a great presentation this morning.
 
B: Why thank you Howard! I was a little nervous but think it went pretty smooth. 

A: Well, you sure didn't look nervous! I really thought adding the video clip to help explain the benefits this project is going to have on the community was really smart. It helped close the deal as far as I'm concerned. 

B: That was actually a suggestion from Ed Smith. He had a lot of good suggestions for me. 

A: Ed's a great guy with lots of good ideas. I'm glad he helped you out. Still, you're the one who had to stand in front of everyone and you pulled it off. Great job! 

B: That means a lot to me Howard. Thank you.

A: クリスティン、僕は、君が今朝、素晴らしいプレゼンをしたと思っているってことだけは知ってほしいんだ。

B:それは実はエド・スミスさんからの提案なの。私のためにたくさんの案を出してくれたわ。

A:エドはいいアイデアをたくさん持っている、すごいやつなんだ。彼が、君を助けたと聞いて、うれしいよ。それでも、君はみんなの前に立たなければいけなかったが、やり遂げた。よくやったよ!

B:私にとって、とても大黄な意味のあることだったわ、ハワード。ありがとう。
